Each of our Geography Mapping Activities contains a wealth of activity sheets and maps which, as well as developing your pupils' mapping skills, also reinforce other geographical aspects, such as: understanding of places; processes and patterns in human and physical geography; environmental change. Fully-referenced, teacher's notes also clearly state the learning objectives and outcomes of each activity.
The Geography Mapping Activities for KS2 (Years 3 & 4) includes one pack of 15* full-colour Ordnance Survey maps of Downham Market; while the Geography Mapping Activities for KS2 (Years 5 & 6) includes three packs of 15* full-colour maps:
- Ordnance Survey map of the Lake District
- West Norfolk
- Downham Market
*Fifteen copies of each of the maps have been provided on the basis that if pupils share one between two, each pack comprises a class set.
Geography Mapping Activities can be used as stand-alone mapping activities for schools that have developed their own geography schemes of work or to complement the activities in our Geography Resource Files.
