New Generation Mathematics Resource Files

Our New Generation Mathematics Resource Files provide primary teachers with a resource that promotes effective maths teaching and learning through engaging mathematics lessons, while taking the strain out of planning.

Each unit is divided into teaching blocks and the lesson plans contain clear learning outcomes.

Each of our New Generation Mathematics Resource Files comprises:

• a ringbound Resource File packed with easy-to-follow, cross-curricular lesson plans and activities, which will enable teachers to deliver effective and engaging lessons, while saving hours of planning and preparation
• a CD which contains a wealth of invaluable resources including activity sheets, a number of PowerPoint presentations that enhance and support the lessons, as well as an electronic version of the whole file, ideal for a whiteboard and perfect for whole-class teaching. The CD also features homework and extension activities, strategies for assessment, ideas to support differentiation, ICT opportunities and cross-curricular links

Each primary maths lesson plan features clear learning objectives and outcomes, cross-curricular links, guidance on assessment and extension/homework activities.

Each block contains an overview of the lessons, clearly showing mental/oral objectives and main teaching objectives.
