Every Child Matters CD

Every Child Matters (ECM) reminds us that all young people need to achieve their full potential.  However, the Every Child Matters agenda covers a vast area and the challenge lies in how to interpret and implement it.  

Our Every Child Matters CD addresses the five key aspects of ECM:

• Being healthy
• Staying safe
• Enjoying and achieving
• Making a positive contribution
• Achieving economic well-being

Pupil performance and well-being go hand in hand. Pupil's can't learn if they don't feel safe or if health problems are allowed to create barriers. The information and photocopiable/interactive sections in this CD will help you and your school to:

• Train all your staff in all those important areas of ECM
• Complete your SEF more effectively
• Show your visiting Improvement Partner [IP] exactly what you have been doing in ECM
• Complete your School Improvement Plan more effectively
