Art and Design Resource Files
LCP Art and Design Resource Files provide you with all the content and guidance you’ll need to present a lesson. Each file is packed with practical activities that you can take straight into the classroom.
You will find a wide variety of creative experiences, which ensure that children gain a broad range of artistic knowledge and skills in drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, textiles, sculpture and the work of different artists, designers and craftspeople.
This comprehensive package comprises:
- a ring binder containing primary art & design lesson plans, medium-term plans with cross-curricular links and photocopiable activity sheets that will save you hours of preparation time
- a CD featuring an electronic flipbook with a wide variety of examples of works of art by artists and children that link to the lessons in the file, perfect for starting a discussion and ideal for a whiteboard
- a large-format flipbook featuring the images from the CD, perfect for whole-class teaching and display
The LCP Art & Design Resource Files gives primary teachers the flexibility to interpret the material to suit your own style and pace. Medium-term plans give an overview of the forthcoming lessons, their learning objectives and outcomes and cross-curricular activities.
For the Key Stage 1 and 2 files there is a CD containing all the works of art from the flipbook in electronic format. Each image can then be projected on to a whiteboard or screen for whole-class teaching. A site licence is included in the price.
The Art & Design Foundation Stage Resource File includes an editable version of the whole file, in Microsoft Word, allowing you to customise it to suit your school, plus all the images from the flipbook, ideal for projection onto a whiteboard. Each primary art & design lesson plan caters for a mixed-ability class and takes into consideration management time and resources. There are also prompt questions, providing teachers with useful ideas to engage children in discussion for each unit of work. Extension activities at the end of each unit provide further ideas.

either: (i) paid for at the end of the inspection period OR (ii) returned to us securely wrapped and in mint condition at
the end of the inspection period. In the event of goods on inspection not being retained, return is normally at the school's
