History Resource File Foundation Stage
LCP History Resource Files bring a fresh approach to the history curriculum. Linked to the sense of time early learning goal, interactive activities and songs help to awaken an awareness of history in your children.
LCP History Resource File Foundation Stage comprises:
- a flipbook of illustrations and photographs
- a resource file containing lesson plans, medium-term plans and photocopiable activity sheets
- two CDs:
- one has an editable version of the whole file in Microsoft® Word, allowing you to customise it to suit your needs, plus all the images from the flipbook for projection on to a whiteboard. There are also 12 simple interactive sorting activities, ideal for consolidation at the end of each unit
- the second CD has 24 specially recorded songs on a range of foundation-stage themes, to help reinforce the concepts taught in the file.
- a site licence is included in the price
Medium-term plans give an overview of the forthcoming lessons, their themes, learning objectives and learning outcomes. They also provide evidence of how each lesson links to the Foundation Stage Profile and suggest links to other curriculum subjects.
Each lesson plan caters for a mixed-ability class and takes into consideration management of time and resources. Differentiated Activity sheets enhance children’s learning in a fun and creative manner. Links to Key Stage 1 make the file ideal for transition between Foundation Stage and KS1.
*Inspection copy
We are happy to send you inspection copies on 28 days' approval provided that they are sent to a school address and are
either: (i) paid for at the end of the inspection period OR (ii) returned to us securely wrapped and in mint condition at
the end of the inspection period. In the event of goods on inspection not being retained, return is normally at the school's
expense.
