ICT Resource Files

LCP ICT Resource Files provide teachers with everything they need to deliver the ICT curriculum, putting all the materials and resources at their fingertips.

The package comprises:

• a file of crammed with creative ICT lesson plans, medium term plans with cross-curricular links and photocopiable activity sheets that will save you hours of preparation time
• a CD containing example files — ideal practice material for children or demonstration material for teachers
• an editable version of the whole file, in Microsoft® Word, so you can adapt it to suit your school

Each primary ICT lesson plan has clear learning objectives and outcomes and includes detailed teaching notes. There is also background information for the primary teacher on many aspects of ICT.

Children’s activity sheets, resource sheets and prompt sheets provide further resources on the topic of the lesson plan and enhance children’s learning in a creative and fun way.

Medium-term plans give an overview of the forthcoming lessons, their learning objectives and outcomes and cross-curricular activities.

Each lesson plan includes:

• clearly stated objectives and outcomes
• detailed teaching notes
• National Curriculum Programme of Study links
• cross-curricular links
• suggestions for differentiation
• helpful background information, written especially for the teacher on many aspects of ICT
• a glossary of ICT terms

The Foundation Stage file is accompanied by a CD containing an editable version of the whole file, in Microsoft Word, allowing you to customise it to suit your school, plus electronic versions of the flashcards for projection onto a whiteboard. A site licence is included in the price.

The key stage 1 and 2 files are accompanied by 2 CD-ROMs. CD-ROM 1 contains all of the material in software which allows teachers to customise any part of the resource to suit their individual school. Full instructions on how to do this are provided. CD-ROM 2 contains example files which can be used as practice material for children or demonstration material for teachers. They can be copied on to your school network. You do not need a site licence.

Please note that if you wish to install and use the software on more than one machine then you need to apply to Kudlian Soft for an additional licence.
