How do I order your teaching and school management resources?

There are five ways to order:

Can I have inspection/approval copies of your resources?

Yes, we are happy to send you inspection/approval copies for most of our resources* on 28 days' approval provided that they are sent to a UK school address and are either:

  1. paid for in full at the end of the inspection period OR
  2. returned to us securely wrapped and in mint condition within 5 working days of the end of the inspection period.

Please note: In the event of goods on inspection not being retained, return postage and packing is at the school’s expense. Please retain proof of postage.

*See our catalogue or individual resource pages on this website for full details of which items are available on inspection.  School Management resources and purely CD-based resources (such as Phonics to Spelling) are not normally available on inspection.


Do your resources carry VAT?

Some of our resources carry VAT and some partial VAT. In the latter case, this means that some of the components that make up a product are subject to VAT, and some are not. Our catalogue and individual resource pages on this website give details of which products carry VAT or partial VAT. Postage and packing also normally incurs VAT.

What about postal and packing charges?

Postage and packing charges for our teaching resources products is currently £4.95 plus VAT per order for deliveries within mainland UK.

This excludes School Management products for which delivery is curently £3.95 plus VAT per order for deliveries within mainland UK.

(Please note that orders which consist of a mixture of teaching resources and school management products will incur the higher delivery charge of £4.95 plus VAT per order.)

For deliveries outside mainland UK, we charge according to delivery location and weight of goods. Please contact us for more information.

We reserve the right to change our postage and packing charges.


What is your returns policy?

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us securely wrapped and in mint condition within 14 days of the date you received the item, and we will issue a full refund.


How do I pay for my goods?

There are three methods of payment:

1) Invoice

If the order is being dispatched to an educational establishment address within the UK, you can choose 'payment by invoice' and we will include an invoice with the delivery of the goods.

2) Credit Card

You can pay for your purchases by telephone and online by credit card. All our online credit card transactions are processed by the Worldpay Secure Server. Critically sensitive information, such as your credit card details, is encrypted so it can not be read in transit.

We accept Delta debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Solo and Switch/Maestro.

3) Cheque

Please send a cheque with your order, made payable to LCP to: LCP, FREEPOST, CV 2662, LEAMINGTON SPA, CV31 1BR.  


What do and what don't discounts apply to?

Where online price discounts are offered these apply to firm orders only. Inspection orders are excluded. Customers may have more than one discount per basket but only one discount per item/product.

This excludes global discounts (those that apply to all products on www.LCP.co.uk) which are available at the same time as individual product/item discounts. However, where global discounts apply (such as 10% off all online orders over £100) to goods which are already themselves discounted, the global discount applies to the discounted price paid and not the full price of the item.

In addition, where discounts are available for orders over a certain amount, this includes the cost of the goods only and does not include VAT or postage.

Discounts on this website are specific to www.LCP.co.uk A separate discount structure operates for our sister website www.Karascope.com
