The LCP PE Resource Files will enable you to deliver creative, cross-curricular PE lessons, ensuring a stimulating and varied PE curriculum in your school.

The LCP PE Resource Files will take the stress and hassle out of your PE lessons by putting ready-to-use cross-curricular lesson plans, medium term plans and lively activities at your fingertips.

This comprehensive, multi-media package comprises:

• a ring binder of inspiring primary PE lesson plans, medium term plans with cross-curricular links and activity sheets that will save you hours of planning and preparation time
• a flipbook, in both electronic and paper versions, featuring photographs and diagrams of children demonstrating the PE skills covered in all the units  — ideal for a whiteboard and perfect for starting
• a whole-class discussion
• a CD featuring video clips of children demonstrating the PE actions and skills covered in all the units — great for showing what children can achieve
• an audio CD with narration and specially composed music for dance. Each dance is based on a theme which links to another curriculum subject, e.g. Life on the Nile
• an editable version of the whole file, in Microsoft® Word, so you can adapt it to suit your school

Each primary PE lesson plan contains a warm-up and cool-down and step-by-step guidance for learning skills and completing tasks. There is advice on class management and time needed for each part of the lesson. Helpful diagrams and illustrations are also provided.

Medium-term plans give an overview of the forthcoming lessons, their learning objectives and outcomes and cross-curricular activities.

Detailed lesson plans for every unit in the QCA Scheme of Work for PE contain:

• a list of equipment needed
• a warm-up and cool-down
• step-by-step guidance for learning skills and completing tasks
• advice on class management
• clear timings of sections
• diagrams and illustrations

The complete package provides teachers with all they need to ensure that children take part in stimulating and enjoyable PE lessons.
