Building High Performance Teams in Schools - an INSET Training CD

The Building High Performance Teams in Schools CD is a practical one day workshop and INSET Training Programme on CD designed to help schools release the power of teamworking to achieve excellence in standards.

The workship emphasises the practicality of teamworking rather than theory alone.  It can be used as a self-help learning tool or as an externally facilitated tool to get the best from your school personnel through high performance teamworking.

• defines high performance teams and how to develop them
• looks at team types and the roles and responsibilities of high performance team members
• looks in depth at the stages of team development and behaviour demonstrated by teams and team members related to actual and potential teams in existence within your own school
• allows teams to identify and analyse their own needs and those of other teams with whom they work
• focuses on inter-team working as well as intra-team working enabling schools to operate as a cohesive high performance team
• will help you prepare a school action plan to determine high performance teamworking, as well as a personal action plan to inspire individual delegates to hone their teamworking skills for their own personal development and for the development of your school.

All categories of staff can benefit from attending the Building High Performance Teams in Schools workshop on CD, as well as specific groups.  It can be run as a whole school CPD session or be tailored to specific teams either independently or in conjunction with others.
