Schools are expected to be able to identify and cater for their able (above average) and their gifted & talented (well above average) pupils. The problem for many schools is where to start and how to proceed in this daunting task.
Our Managing the Able, Gifted and Talented in the Primary School CD provides your school with a ‘tool-kit’ for identifying, monitoring and evaluating the needs of these pupil groups to the satisfaction of external inspectors.
The information on the CD invites pupils to consider their own approaches to learning, with such child-friendly aids as ‘learning ladders’; while for the co-ordinator (ABCO), whose challenging job it is to give the lead to colleagues, there is support in the shape of several highly-detailed PowerPoint presentations.
The CD also has a wealth of time-saving blank charts, tables, registers, reports and questionnaires, in addition to many model policies, guidelines and in-depth case studies – in all over 600 pages of support.
